MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD: ORGANIZE A LOCAL GROUP OF YOUTH/YOUNG ADULTS TO MEET WITH AN MP/SENATOR/MLA FROM YOUR AREA
- It is easy! And we STRONGLY encourage you and your friends to do it in your home town. If you would like advice on how to set up a meeting and get some pointers then contact us at voicecoach@4mycanada.ca and we will walk you through it!
We are looking for a team of local volunteers to help with on-the-ground volunteer tasks. If you want to help in the 4MYC office please E-mail us at admin@4mycanada.ca and we will put you to work!

- MY Canada is committed to supporting Members of Parliament who will represent our VOICE in the nation (whatever party they are from).

GET A JOB WITH A MEMBER'S OFFICE:
We are now beginning to take applications from individuals (perhaps like yourself) who are interested in working or volunteering for a Member of Parliament.
Very often we hear of job opportunities on the Hill (usually admin position). This is an incredible opportunity for serve onsite. If you would like to be referred by MYC for a position with a Member's office please send your profile with the following information:
- your name
- your age
- your gender (so we don't get confused with neutral names)
- your home address and contact E-mail
- your practical skills (computer, admin & personal)
- your practical experience
- your education level
- any involvement you have had with MYC (the Siege's or the CRY)
- 3-5 references that can vouch for your depth of faith, integrity and general character
- you motivation for wanting a job or volunteer position with a Member (1-2 paragraphs max.)
- your dream for Canada (1-2 paragraphs max.)
- whether you would like a full-time, part-time or volunteer position (or any of the above)
The Process: If you pass the initial screening with us we will begin forwarding information to you about available positions that we know. We will also write a general MYC letter of recommendation for any positions that you apply for. Finally, if hired, we will pray for to do an amazing job and be an influence that will make Canada STRONG for generations to come!
Note: MYC is also beginning to take applications for a select few interns that will help on-site in Ottawa. Inquire at admin@4mycanada.ca. The most serious consideration will be given to those who have already been involved with MYC at some level, or, who we have relational connection to.
VOTE!
- In any and every election (federal, provincial and municipal) for wo/men who will stand for traditional morality if elected.
Election Questions Tip:
During an election! Many of us will be getting phone calls from Political parties, if you don't, please call them. These are the some key questions to ask each candidate!
- Where are you on the Life issue?
- Where are you on raising the age of sexual consent?
- Where are you on Public Religion expression?
BEGIN A MEDIA SIEGE IN YOUR AREA
- Several MPs have told us that, in their opinion, the media is just as powerful or more powerful than the Parliament/Senate. As we seek to Siege the nation with a voice of traditional morality we would strongly encourage you to begin to Siege the media in your area. How you ask? Well, there are a few ways that we can suggest:
- write a pro-traditional morality newspaper article and submit it to your local newspaper
- watch your newspaper for articles that are written on moral issues and write an opp-ed (responsive article) to respond to the article, this usually needs to happen in a timely fashion so act fast when you see something to write about!
- submit an article to your local newspaper about us (MY Canada) and let Canada know that there are young people with a traditionally moral passion in our nation, we are not an endangered species, we are a GROWING MOVEMENT...how will Canada know we are here if we do not tell them (people like us are a little bit of a HOT topic for the media)
- make sure that the media is invited (TV and paper) to any events in your area that have a pro-morality feel
- become a writer/editor yourself :)

START A PRAYER SIEGE GROUP IN YOUR SCHOOL OR CHURCH
- It is easy! Find a few like-minded friends, pick a time (a weekly time is good) and gather to pray for righteousness and justice to come to Canada and to explode in our generation! The Holy Spirit may even lead you to meet at a key place in your city to pray like City Hall, the Legislative Assembly, the courts etc. Siege your area in prayer and fasting for righteousness.

- We are watching for those across the nation who want to give themselves to help build MY Canada. For now these positions are volunteer or funded through self raised support. - We want to see Canada come back to it's roots. In order to see that in its fullness we believe that people like YOU need to arise and be a voice for morality in Canada. This 'bullet point' is simply to say "GO FOR IT!!" Dream big and run hard after them!
