At the beginning of 2004 I was waiting on the Lord and began meditate on Ps. 104 which speaks of the awesome nature of God and his command over creation and the creatures of the earth. In verse 29 it says, "...when you take away their breath, they die and return to the dust." This tree is a reminder that without His breath we are desolate. It is only in Him that we have life. I called it With or Without You.

This is a piece that one of my friends asked me to paint for His wife. It is called A Three Stranded Chord and signifies pure Christian love in marriage that is held together by the love of God (imparted by Holy Spirit as signified by the white chord).

This is a painting of one of the tongues of fire that came down on the day of Pentecost. The white dove in the middle is clearly symbolic of the reality of the Holy Spirit to come upon us as believers to empower us to do the tangible work of the Kingdom. Send your fire Lord! Send the fire of your Spirit on us.

I love this painting, it represents the reality of the blood of Jesus. It is called Nothing But The Blood. I got the vision while in a prayer time meditating on the famous song line, "What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus." This is a true word. Selah.

This painting is of the first little boy I picked up in Liberia when I was there as a missionary. His name is Saye and I love him dearly. When I met him he was dying of malnutrition and his parents had abandoned him all together. We were able to get him totally rehabilitated and get him into school and placed in a good family. Saye was the first of a about a hundred young children that we were able to help in the same way.

BELOW: This 4 painting series is of the four faces of God spoken of in Revelation: The Lion, The Eagle, The Lion and The Man. Theologians say that the four faces represent four aspects of the nature of God. I think they are onto something :). This series is in my living room. I hunger to understand the fullness of all that the Lord is. These paintings remind me to pursue Him more.

This painting is history on canvas! It is a shot of the day (May 24th, 2006) when the Peace Tower Clock on the Parliamentary tower stopped at 7:28am. The wild thing about this is that Canada was named, by our Founding Fathers, after Psalm 72:8 ("He will have dominion from sea to sea..."). The clock had never stopped before & the chances of it stopping of that exact number sequence is 1 in 1440! THIS is an encouraging sign. Coencidence? Perhaps, but doubtful. :)
